Tino: “So I’ve moved to my ‘stare at the ceiling plan’.”
Tino’s Mum: “Okay noww you’re obsessing. You need to get out and have some fun.”
Tino: “Ohh, but staring at the ceiling is lots of fun. I can’t believe I’ve wasted so much of my life not staring at the ceiling.”
Tino’s Mum: “Am I going to have to force you?”
Tino: “Alrightt, I’ll have some fun. But I won’t enjoy it!”
The Weekenders: Season 2: Episode 17
Tino: My theory is that a tiny part of your brain does nothing but try to be cool, and in Carver, this part has swollen up and squashed the other parts like cockroaches. It’s like squish! It’s like gaomeowmeow! And there’s this one leg twitching. It’s like tchtchtch! Anyway.
fuckyeahsaturdaymorningcartoons:
CARVER: Carver, here! For a while now we’re known that Tino has a certain… how can I say it nicely.. I can’t. A certain mental problem.
TISH: And we’re not talking about his tendency to obsess or his overuse of the phrase “you know,” we’re talking about his totally irrational fear of clowns.
CARVER: And it’s been getting worse ever since we saw that movie, Mutant Clowns from the Hollow Earth.
LOR: Just take a look at how scared he is in these flashbacks.
